The measure of a man ... Not how did her die, but how did he live? Not what he did gain, but what did he give? These are the units to measure the worth of a man as a man, regardless of birth. Not, what is his church, nor what was his creed? But had he befriended those really in need? Was he ever ready, with word or good cheer, to bring back a smile, to banish a tear? Now what did the sketch in the newspaper say, but how many were sorry when he passed away. |

| Member: Brian Hartzell, age 31, of Ohio. Many of you knew Brian, but for those of you who did not, Brian was one of our top Jersey Wooly breeders and an ARBA Judge. He is responsible for getting the broken patterned Jersey Wooly accepted in our breed and has won top honors at both National and Convention shows with his Jersey Woolys and American Fuzzy Lops. Many of us have at least one rabbit in our barn that traces back to one or more of Brian’s rabbits. He was well liked by many, especially the youth. The "Brian Hartzell Memorial Youth Scholarship" fund has been set up in his memory. Checks can be made out to "Brian Hartzell Memorial Fund" and mailed to: Linda Baker/NJWRC Treasurer PO Box 428 Fredrick, PA 19435 For more information on the fund, please contact Linda Baker, lbakermk@aol.com. |
